Barca keeping tabs on Neymar

Barcelona vice-president Jose Maria Bartomeu has hinted the Catalan giants will make their move for Neymar during the current transfer window.

The Santos star is currently wowing spectators for Brazil at the London Olympics, netting once against Egypt before almost single-handedly dismantling Belarus, in which he made two assists either side of a breathtaking free-kick.

The 20-year-old has been tipped with a move to Europe for some time and Bartomeu made no attempt to hide Barca's interest.

"Neymar? We would all like to see him joining after the Olympics. If he decides to come to Europe we'll try to make it Barca," he said.

A player of Neymar's calibre is unlikely to arrive to the Nou Camp cheaply and the striker is contracted to Santos for at least the next two years.
