Former Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos believes that Neymar is destined to join Barcelona when he eventually leaves Santos.
The 21-year-old stated earlier this week that he does not have a preference between the Catalan giants and Los Blancos.
However, Carlos has little doubt that Neymar will eventually end up at Camp Nou, rather than the 39-year-old’s former club.
He told Al Jazeera: "I have spoken with him. He should have left Brazil already in my opinion. I believe that Barcelona have a 90 per cent chance of signing him."
Carlos, who is now sporting director at Russian club Anzhi, then went on to dismiss suggestions that the Seleção attacker might not be compatible with Lionel Messi.
"He is able to adapt to any situation," he added.
