Former Brazil left-back Roberto Carlos believes there is a good chance Neymar will make the switch from Santos to Barcelona.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to the Nou Camp, though he this week suggested he would be just as happy if he made the move to bitter rivals Real Madrid.
However, Carlos expects his compatriot to choose the Catalan giants. He feels a move to Europe is long overdue.
"I have spoken with him. He should have left Brazil already in my opinion. I believe that Barcelona have a 90 per cent chance of signing him," Carlos told Al Jazeera.
A switch to Barcelona would see Neymar link up with Lionel Messi, widely regarded as the best player in world football. The two players would be able to play in the same team, according to Carlos.
"He (Neymar) is able to adapt to any situation," he added.
